Jorge Gomez, Associate, represents foreign nationals seeking employment- and family-based visas, as well as small and large multinational corporations on immigration matters. Jorge has experience counseling clients with family-based petitions, consular processing, adjustments of status, naturalization, and self-petitions for individuals with extraordinary ability and achievement. Jorge also has experience advising corporations, including startups and Fortune 500 companies, on employment-based visas and the development of immigration policies and compliance procedures. Jorge came to the Firm with 10 years of experience working at global immigration firms and full full-service boutique immigration firms. He received his J.D. from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. While at CUNY, Jorge participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic; was a Fellow for both the Center on Latinx Rights and Equality (CLORE) and the Sorensen Center for Peace and Justice. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University. Jorge has provided pro-bono immigration assistance at CUNY Citizenship Now! workshops and has assisted with other pro-bono matters, including clemency and parole applications. He is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice in New York.
